We have about thirty employees from all over the globe, including trustworthy receptionists, hardworking shampoo assistants, creative hairstylists, soothing estheticians, and precise nail technicians.

Carolyn Lorraine Salon is a full service salon in Northbrook, well known for our talented and experienced hair stylists. Since 1998, we have catered to a diverse clientele who choose us for both contemporary and classic hair designs and the area’s finest hair color and hair highlighting. We take time to fully understand the needs of each one of our clients.
In addition to outstanding hair design, color and cuts, we also offer a full array of services including conditioning treatments, facials, skincare and makeup, massage, waxing, and a complete selection of nail services.

Carrie Mueller
Carrie was born to be a hairdresser and an owner of a salon. Growing up, her father owned and worked at his barbershop. Some of her best childhood memories were hours spent inside those walls.
When she was just a young teen, Carrie worked at a beauty salon and her passion for hair was ignited. After high school, she attended Pivot Point Academy. From there, she began her career at salons and took over the family haircuts, relieving her father of his duties (to the delight of her mom and sisters!)
Carrie founded Carolyn Lorraine Salon over 25 years ago. She attributes her success partly to her high level of skill and business acumen, but mostly to her insistence that all staff and clients feel like family.
